A client once said to me that she always had a
slight hesitation about accepting invites to social events like race days,
because of the pressure to find a new outfit – and the associated costs.
Planning your race outfit need not be difficult…
Consider the following ideas:
Colour blocking - jacket, skirt
and shirt outfits are an excellent choice, you might have a simple skirt or pants in your wardrobe and only need to purchase a new shirt or jacket to team with it.
Using accessories - the classic little black dress or a plain coloured dress can look like new with different coloured accessories, particularly if the accessories are this season's colour.
Blending patterns - mixing up your patterns is right on trend at the moment - check out what's in the wardrobe and give those favourite pieces another run.
Try wearing a new item to layer a dress - if you have a dress with an interesting hemline or pattern, or a tried and tested classic that has seen a few race days already, layer it up with a shirt or cardi for a new look.
And the headpiece ties it all together!!! Ideas for making the most of your headpieces coming soon.
